About Me
Hello World!
I’m Andreas Bellstedt — an IT professional with more than 20 years of experience across enterprise environments. Call me Andi. I’m passionate about technology, but even more about applying it in a way that improves reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Over the years, I’ve built a broad range of skills. My strongest focus today is clearly on Identity & Access Management and automation, with PowerShell and enterprise identity platforms at the center of my day-to-day work.
I bring many years of experience from highly professional IT consulting, ranging from technical delivery to workshops and architecture support. In addition, I’ve held responsibility in leadership, coordination, and management roles — bridging technical depth with stakeholder communication, prioritization, and execution.
What I Work On
My core areas of expertise include:
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): designing and operating identity foundations, authentication/authorization concepts, and governance in enterprise environments
- Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID: deep hands-on experience across hybrid identity scenarios, directory services, and modern cloud identity
- PowerShell Engineering: very deep PowerShell expertise with a strong focus on maintainable tooling
- developed multiple modules published on the PowerShell Gallery
- maintaining a large, battle-tested script collection for day-to-day operations
- Windows (Server & Client): extensive experience in designing, hardening, and troubleshooting Windows-based environments
- Security Focus: applying security best practices throughout identity, automation, and operations (security is a design requirement, not an afterthought)
- Adjacent Technologies: virtualization, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 — with a pragmatic, operations-first mindset
